About us
Who we are
Street Aid Africa Foundation is a volunteer-driven non profit organization dedicated to empowering underserved communities across Africa through access to education, advocacy, and community engagement.
Founded in 2018, our mission is to break down barriers to education and create pathways for success, igniting transformative change in the lives of Street Connected children and their communities. At Street Aid Africa Foundation, we recognize the severe shortcomings in the educational sector in Africa.
With this understanding, we are deeply committed to transforming the lives of Africa’s most precious resource – her children. Through initiatives like ‘Clothe the Streets,’ ‘Street to School Fund,’ and ‘Hello Big Sister,’ we strive to provide essential resources, educational opportunities, and support to those in need.
Through ‘Clothe the Streets,’ we collect brand new or gently used items and distribute them to underserved communities across Africa. The ‘Street to School Fund’ complements our efforts by ensuring that every child has access to the basic necessities and school-related items they need to attend school comfortably and confidently.
Additionally, ‘Hello Big Sister’ brings together successful women to mentor and guide young girls, inspiring them to pursue their dreams and reach their full potential, drawing strength from women who have done so themselves.
Join us in our mission to create a future where every child has the opportunity to thrive. Whether you donate, volunteer, or spread the word about our work, your support makes a difference. Together, we can break down barriers, drive change, and build a brighter future for Africa’s children and communities.
Our Vision
To create a world where every child, regardless of socio-economic background, has the tools and opportunities to thrive academically and personally, fostering a society built on equality and empowerment.
